How to Prepare for a Hurricane

As the Hurricane season approaches, we need to be ready with some essentials that will make the difficult moment of a hurricane a lot more bearable.

The main things we need to consider are:

  1. A source of water: It is recommended to store 1 gallon of water per person per day. Our family has chosen to store

In addition to provide for possible needs it is important to secure your home and your belongings.

  1. Board your home – secure your windows and glass doors.
  2. Clean your backyard and the surrounding of your home of any loose items that may turn into proyectiles.
  3. Prepare a safe area in your home to pass the hurricane preferably in an inner room like a closet or a bathroom.
  4. Fill up the fuel tank in your car.
